Meet one of my best friends in the whole world. I have known this Mama since we were in diapers! Now, I get to shoot pics of her beautiful family as we are raising our own kids. What a joy it has been seeing her become a mom. The day was cold and rainy, and her family was willing to brave the weather for the promised beautiful lighting and green grass. I am so happy they toughed out the weather for what turned out to be a beautiful shoot.

I was blessed to meet this beautiful Mama over two years ago when we moved to our new neighborhood. We quickly became best friends and she is the cheer leader behind growing my business and launching my site. I am so blessed to have her in my life. I am also so lucky to get to capture these special last moments with her daughter one on one before baby sister joins their family. So, I first got to meet this beautiful family when their twin daughters were just turning 1. We had a fun cake smash shoot with cake everywhere and balloons popping. 6 months later, I shot family photos. After shooting pics of a family with twins, you automatically assume they are done having kids. 5 years later… I got such a fun surprise. They were expecting #3, and…. it’s a boy! Like I mention in several places on my website, I absolutely LOVE watching families grow. For this family, it is so fun to see them get to experience a new baby completely differently than the first time. This little guy is absolutely the sweetest. At only 6 days old, he was sleepy and sweet the whole shoot. Enjoy!

This family was so much fun to shoot. I love families that just LAUGH together, and this was one of them. I met them through a mutual friend AND they just moved in down the street! I can’t wait for more shoots and many more years of friendship with them. Little sister Emery and get enough hugging on her brother Jack… and well Jack had to be bribed to smile sweet back with all the gross sister hugs. This was a special shoot for Grandma because she got pictures with her two boys and grandkids. Stay tuned for the next wedding in this family this fall.

Cake smash shoots are one of my favorites. Some kids LOVE every minute of digging in, others HATE it…disappointing their mom’s who wait a year for this moment. I was so lucky to shoot these pictures of Brody, being the second cake smash I have shot for his family. He did not disappoint. Dig in and enjoy as much as he did.
